Does the recipient need to install TranSend?+

No. For cloud transfers, recipients visit transendapp.org/receive and enter the code — no account, no app.

How long do transfers stay active?+

Free: up to 3 hours. Pro: up to 30 days. You choose the expiry time when uploading.

What exactly is "Burn after download"?+

The moment someone downloads your file it is permanently deleted from our servers. The code becomes invalid immediately. No copies exist anywhere.

Are files encrypted?+

All transfers use HTTPS. Pro users can enable end-to-end encryption — encrypted before leaving your device, we cannot read it.

Maximum file size?+

Free: 1 GB per file. Pro: 10 GB per file.

Do I need an account?+

Works as a guest. A free account unlocks 2 GB storage, history, and download notifications.
