Getting started
Installing TranSend
Download TranSend from Google Play on your Android device. Search for "TranSend" or tap the download button on this page. iOS and desktop versions are coming soon.
Do I need an account?
You need a free account to send files. Creating one is free and takes under a minute. Recipients never need an account — just the transfer code and any browser. Your account also unlocks storage tracking, download notifications, and transfer history.
Cloud transfer
Select files and tap "Upload to cloud." Configure options then upload. You receive a code like EMBER-4729. Share it — the recipient enters it at transendapp.org/receive to download. No app required.
Transfer options
Expiry
Set how long your transfer stays active. Free plan: 1 hour or 3 hours. Pro plan: up to 30 days. Once expired, the file is permanently deleted and the transfer code becomes invalid.
Burn after download
When enabled, the file is permanently deleted from our servers the moment it's first downloaded. The code becomes invalid immediately.
Password protection
Add a password to your transfer. The recipient must enter it before downloading.
Scheduled delivery
Set a future unlock time for your transfer. Share the code immediately — the file stays locked until the exact moment you choose. Pro only.
End-to-end encryption (Pro)
The file is encrypted on your device before upload. We cannot read the file at any point.
Receiving a file
Visit transendapp.org/receive, enter the transfer code, and download. No account or app required — works in any browser on any device.
Storage limits
- Free: 2 GB total, 1 GB per file, 3 hour max expiry
- Pro: 50 GB total, 10 GB per file, 30 day max expiry
- Files are automatically deleted after expiry — nothing stays on our servers longer than needed.
Account
Forgot password
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link valid for 1 hour.
Delete account
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your account and all data are permanently deleted immediately. This cannot be undone.
Upgrading to Pro
Go to Settings → Account → Upgrade to Pro, or visit transendapp.org/#pricing. Pay via card, Ghana MoMo, or Nigeria payment options.
