The release is intentionally focused: choose nearby content, choose the nearby device, approve, and send.
The handoff
Find devices on the same normal Wi-Fi network or hotspot.
Move common content directly between Windows and nearby Android devices.
Nothing is saved until the receiving device accepts the request.
Windows
Keep TranSend available in the background and restore the window when needed.
Review previous sends and receives, search entries, and clear history.
Check on launch, after a network reconnect, or manually from Settings.
Control
Transfer data travels over the nearby network through an encrypted connection.
Existing files are protected by creating a numbered name instead of overwriting.
No account, subscription, active analytics, or cloud file storage.
Windows installer
TranSend 1.0.0 is not code-signed yet. Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show a warning on first install. Continue only when the installer came directly from transendapp.org.
There is no official Google Play download link yet. We will add the real link when the public Android release is ready.
Turn the behavior into a report the product team can replay.
